My first ever real 3D project, except tutorials and other simple models. Not even close to satisfied with it yet, but will maybe upload more images as I progress...
Ignore the textures, just wanted to give him some since he looked really dull in plain gray.
to comment without it: I would say that you have to work on eyes, and that you can have a better modelisation on hands.
about texture: if it's really to give it a color, then don't put textures at all, cause it can hide some parts of you'r modelisation without beeing better than a good base material.
I'll post wireframe and stuff if you'd like. The hands were made from a tut so it's not mine, that's why they look a little crappy.
And I can't help to chuckle thinking of his eyes. I see know that it looks like his eyes are there, but his eyes are actually closed... See what you mean by texture screwing it up.
I'm just trying out 3d modeling so I started out with the free program Blender.
Just because you got a lot of money . I myself can't afford to get something anywhere near 3ds max, or at least not completely legal... Blender seemed to be a good start though.
